Ford Repair: 1998 Contour missing when starting up a hill, fuel pressure gauge, ford contour

I have a 1998 Ford Contour 4 cylinder that misses with moderate acceleration when starting up a hill. Once you give it more gas the missing stops. I have tried fuel additive, had plugs and wires changed, fuel filter changed and both 02 sensors changed. Can you help me? There has been no lights come on and I was told without a light on that a scan will not show anything.

Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
A check engine lighton is always helpful, but certainly NOT needed. It sounds like and ignition problem still. Did who ever replacing the spark plugs and wires, check the coil pack? Also, you might want to check the fuel pressure with a fuel injection fuel pressure gauge. That is where I would start the diagnosis and work from there.
