Ford Repair: replacing lifters - priming?, head bolts, head bolt

Question
Howdoo.

I am about to replace the lifters in my 92 explorer, 4.0 auto 4x4

I have the parts and am in the process of tearing down.  I figure i should prime the lifters before putting them in.  Other then soaking them in oil is there anything else I should do to them?

also should I treat the new head bolts with somthing for the bolts that will be in contact with antifreeze?

THanks
Les

Answer
Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
Nothing else to do with the lifters......prime and install.
No head bolt go in to the coolant passage on the 4.0L engine. The only thing I would suggest is that you LIGHTLY coat them with oil, for ease of installation.
Hope this helps,
Erik
