Ford Repair: Electric Door Locks and Auto start, electric door locks, key fobs

Question
98Taurus.with after market auto start.

My auto start operates off the electric door locks. When we push the lock button on our key fob three times in sucession, the triple locking impulses energize the auto start and the car starts.

Recently the door locks have started locking on their own and thereby starting the car at all times during the day.

I have removed the fuses from the auto start mechanism but the doors still lock incessantly.

There is no rythym. Sometimes they will lock 10 times in 10 seconds and other times wait maybe 30 minutes with no locking. It does seem to be worse when the car is running.

We have the 5 number combination locks on the drivers door and lock swivel buttons on the front doors.

While investigating the auto start wiring, I noticed a wire going to the hood closure contact. I noticed another wire going to the brake pedal and a third wire going into the side wall towards the drivers door.

After I removed the fuses from the auto start, our horn has started blowing (anti-theft) whenever we stop the car and either turn off the key or open the door.

I have checked the lock buttons for sticking and they appear normal. I have also considered one of our key fobs may be sending out a constant signal but the doors still lock when no key fob is present.

Answer
Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
I would check the wires that go from the body to the driver side door for being pinched/open/broken. After that I would suggest that you contact the manufactuor of the alarm system as I don't deal with after market systems.
