Ford Repair: unable to start my 93 ford explorer, starter solenoid, light hook

hi there:
       problem with engine-wont start. changed the starter,and selinoid. checked the battery,  wont take a battery jump either. help me please!

Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
Get a test 12v light. Hook the clip to neg(-) of the battery and start checking for voltage. First, check at the starter solenoid on the fender wall. Check the pos.(+). Then have some one try and start it while checking for voltage at the trigger wire going to the solenoid and the output side of the solenoid. Then, while they are try to start it still, go under (have the vehicle in PARK(AT) or NEUTRAL(MT), and E-brake applied) the vehicle and check for voltage at the starter pos.(+) cable, and also trigger wire.
You'll most likely find that you have a bad starter and or starter solenoid.
