Ford Repair: Front windows of 1969 mustang, commercial adhesives, mustangs unlimited

Question
The front window glass in my 69 mustang have been attached by glueing them into a channel.Mine have come loose, and I have tried to rebond them with several types of commercial adhesives with very little success.They will stay bonded for a few months then come loose again.Is there a fix for this problem ?
