I have 94 ford explorer.. it loses power when i accelerate and in the morning if i accelerate it will spudder... I changed the coil, spark plugs, spark plug wires, did a fuel injection cleaning ..check the gas pressure..  I'm not sure if a sensor would be causing this or the idle air controller...

Hello and thanks for the reply...I'll try to help.
The next thing I would do is put a vac gage on the engine and "see" what the engine is doing. Record all of the readings of the vac needle. A sensor could be causing this, but since you haven't mentioned that there was a check engine light on, I don't think it is.

sorry...yes the check engine light is on.. it only comes on when I use the truck on the freeway..even then it would turn off, then come back on.. I changed the throttal body sensor because I thought it was that but I'm not sure what other sensors I could change.. The only prob. is that I got the truck from a tow yard and the place to put the connection to the computer is melted .. I did run some air line cleaner through all the vaccum hoses and changed all the cracked hoses.. but still the problem stay's..  I have not changed the idle air control, but I did clean it and put it back on..

What you NEED to do is go back to the bone yard and find a computer connector that is not melted and replace the one in your truck. Then check it for fault codes. Do NOT play guessing games. It wastes my time and your money. Neither of which I want. Check it over for fault codes and go from there.
