Ford Repair: gas tank leak, gas tank repair, marinetex

any thing I can get to repair my gas tank, without taking it off, like a weld paste.

If you can get the area clean enough, you can try Marinetex, which is available in any marine/boat shop. There is stuff made specifically for gas tank repair available in the auto parts stores but Marinetex is by far the best. I can not guarantee how long it will last or that the gas will not eat it away after a while, though. Hope that this helps and good luck.
