Ford Repair: 2000 Ford Ranger instrument panel failure, oil pressure gauge, fuel light

Question
The last few months on cool mornings when I start my 2000 Ranger every once in a while the gauges do not register.  After about 3 or 4 minutes of running they come on.  I first noticed it on the oil pressure gauge, and I believe it was the only one to fail at first.  I checked the oil etc. and found nothing wrong and had the oil pressure checked.  Now it seems to be all gauges (I noticed that it was all of them now due to the fuel light coming on and knowing I had just filled up the day before.  It only happens once in a while (maybe once or twice a month or maybe less) and always seems to be on cool or cold mornings.  It has only happened in the mornings when the vehicle has been parked and never while driving etc. and as I said only lasts about 3 to 4 minutes and they all start working.

Answer
Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
I would see about checking ALL of the electrical connections under the dash and also at the panel.
Loose connections are difficult to track down for electrical problems.
Hope this helps,
Erik
