Ford Repair: noise, high pitch, repair garage

I have a 1994 Ford Explorer 4.0, automatic. When you reach 30+ mph there is a high pitch noise that sounds like it is coming from the rear of the car but at times also from the front, it is hard to pinpoint. Is this a rear end problem? Any advice would be appreciated.

I would suggest that you bring it to a repair garage and have them look at it. I can't tell you where the noise is coming from, being that the vehicle isn't at my disposal to look at.
