Ford Repair: battery draining, ford probe gt, amp fuse

Question
I have a '93 Ford Probe GT with 160k miles.  I bought the car as a local run around for my new driver.  Need two maintenance issues resolved.  The battery discharges and there is an oil leak.

I pulled all of the fuses and noticed the amp draw dropped to zero when the 40 Amp fuse labeled BTN was removed. When this fuse is in the draw cycles between 0.51 and 0.30 Amps. The battery is 3 months old.  Ideas?

There is a lot of wet oil under the hood.  I was thinking of replacing the valve cover gaskets as a DYI project.  Suggestions or troubleshooting advise?

Thanks for this great service.  Sorry if the questions are vague. Let me if I need to provide further info.

Best Regards,

As far as the fuse amperage draw goes, What is the position of the fuse--------what #?

Thanks and hope this helps,
