Ford Repair: Ranger a/c, feron, pressure switch

Question
97 Ranger, 4 cylinder, manual transmission.

Last summer the a/c worked at times and other times did not. This year since it is getting warmer it does not work at all.  The feron is ok, the compressor seems to be fine, and the fuses are ok. I would like to know how to jump start the compressor to see if a/c relay may be bad.  Thank you so much

Answer
Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
You should be able to jump the low side pressure switch which is located near the Reciever/Dryer. Be CAREFUL, when you jump it that you do not let it run for to long un-regulated.
Hope this helps,
Erik
