Ford Repair: Brakes, wheel sensors, rear brakes

Question
Spongy brake pedal. Replaced front and rear wheel cylinders and calipers. I can bleed the system but still have spongy pedal. When I turn either of the back wheels the abs valve trips not so with the front. Vehicle (windstar) also has traction control. When I check the wheel sensors all 4 have a ready at the valve. Finally the question did I miss something or do I need a new abs valve?

Answer
Hi Jeff,
You need to have the system pressure bleed. Normal foot bleeding might not work. If that doesn't work, you may have air in the ABS control unit, To get that air out your mechanic needs a computer to "Service Bleed" the ABS system.
Also make sure your rear brakes are adjusted up. GOOD LUCK!

Jeff
