Ford Repair: parts, drivetrain specialists, mustang gt

Question
where can I locate a 8.8rear end for my 1986 mustang GT ?

Answer
Dexter-

There's a ton of places to find 8.8 rears for Mustangs.  The easiest would be a junkyard or something like the classified ads on The Corral (www.corral.net).  Ford still sells new units (I believe) but they don't come with axles...I don't think they come with differentials, either.  You could also call up any of the drivetrain companies that build rear ends like Currie, Drivetrain Specialists, or Mark Williams.  However, I'd only recommend that if you need it built stronger than stock since those companies tend to build high quality pieces that are more expensive.  Hope this helps.
