Ford Repair: Dead Miss, crank sensor, radiator support

Question
I have a 2001 4.6L 4x4 Ford Ranger with automatic trans. What I have is a snow related problem that the dealership was never able to fix. When driving in snow or have a blowing snow across the freeway the truck will act just like you reach over and shut the key off and right back on! It never quits or shuts down and never sets a code on the computor. Very sporadic and only in the snow. Rain does not effect it! Its like it sucks the snow in through the intake someway and effects a sensor or something. This is a mechanics nitemare and mine as well. Havent found anyone that has a clue. Dealer only replaced only the crank sensor and tightened a radiator support ground strap. No help
! Any suggestions would be appreciated!  Thanks  Larry

Answer
Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
This sound like an interesting problem. What I would suggest you do is bring it to a Ford garage/dealership...Ask them for the remote vehicle recorder. What this will do is record the vehicle's computer system and ANY faults when the problem occurs, after you push the trigger button. They will give you this set up, and after you have recorded the fault, you go back in and then they will be able to "look" at the computer system of the vehicle.
Hope this helps,
Erik
