Ford Repair: timing marks, mass air flow sensor, mass air flow

Question
I'am looking for the timing marks on a 96 ford ranger 2.3 liter auto trans. Some one else had replaced the head and had the timing all screwed up.I have it so it has plenty of power and the check engine light stays off by replacing mass air flow sensor and pig tail, but it still hesitates real bad. Any ideas about what it could be? thanks Terry

Answer
Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
Use this link for the timing belt:

As far as the hesitation, go back to the basics.........check: engine tune up, engine computer codes, fuel pressure.

Hope this helps,
Erik
