Ford Repair: Door Locks, ford explorer sport, door latch

The auto-door locks will lock on drivers side but will not unlock even when pulling the lock knob up and down when hitting the electric lock button. Sometimes pulling the door latch from the inside works but sounds  like it is binding.  Any Ideas how to fix this ?  It is a 2000 Ford Explorer Sport  also I had trouble one time before and it was the rivet that holds the electic door lock switch on the door.

Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
 I would suggest that you remove the door panel and take a look inside, to see what loose and going on. Other then that, I couldn't say with out seeing the vehicle.
