Ford Repair: 2000 V6 Ford Mustang Rear Brakes, v6 mustang, ford mustang

Question
I read a previous post and answer to having to screw the rear piston back into the caliper on a 1997 Tbird.  Is this the case on the 2000 V6 Mustang rears also?  I tried to compress with a c clamp and it would not go.  The posting also mentioned a special tool, do you know what it is called?

Thanks for the help and guidance!
Scott

Answer
Scott-

Yeah. the 2000 V6 rears should screw in the same way.  It's been so long since I bought one of those tools I've forgotten what it's called.  However, you can walk into any auto parts store and ask them for the tool...it's sort of a hollow cube-looking thing that slips onto the end of a ratchet or driver.  It should cost under $10.  Hope this helps.
