Ford Repair: Engine Problem., blown head gasket, cracked block

Question
I have a 1990 Ford T-bird,3.8L V6 and I'd like to know why white smoke and water is coming out of the exahust system when it's running and it also feels like a cylinder is failing.

Answer
Luis-

Sounds to me like you've got a blown head gasket or possibly a cracked block.  My money's on a blown gasket...especially if the smoke gets really thick when you accelerate.  What happens is, once a gasket blows, coolant and oil will mix together and burn, which is where you get that bright white smoke.  I would also check your oil.  My guess is that it'll be a mily brown-ish color (also from coolant and oil mixing).  If that's the case, it'll need to be fixed right away.  Hope this helps.
