Ford Repair: Supercharged Mustang needs exhaust, high performance catalytic converters, performance catalytic converters

Question
I need help choosing a quality header-to-tailpipe exhaust system for my '02 Mustang GT.  It currently has a Vortech supercharger (at 8 psi), stock exhaust with stock cats and pipes, and Flowmaster mufflers.  I now want a quieter system, but one with good flow characteristics.  Where do I turn for ultra high performance catalytic converters and less exhaust noise?  On a dyno the engine recently showed 353 rear wheel horsepower.  Other mods include a Diablo superchip, K&N air filter, larger fuel pump and injectors, a stronger clutch and 3.73 gears.

Well...the noise factor will be determined by the choice of mufflers.  For the H or X pipe, I like the Bassanni X-pipes, but you'll have to pay for the quality.  Really any H or X pipe should work just fine.  MAC also makes some more affordable quality H-pipes.  As for the cats, I would look at (again) the new Bassanni metallic substrate converters.  They use a metal mesh instead of a traditional ceramic catalyst and the dyno numbers I've seen on them so far have been pretty impressive.  The mufflers are really a matter of preference.  Borla makes some exceptional and rather quiet mufflers (until you really jump on the throttle), but again they're pretty expensive at around $100 or so each.  I know Steeda also used to make a super quiet muffler that really only came alive when you stood on the loud pedal.  I'm not sure if they still make them, but it's worth checking.  Hope this helps.
