Question
1. where do the vacuum line 'go' to and from on this 1993 ford escort engine?  the lines were cut!
a. I need your advice , so I won't miss a line.

2. fuel lines were cut too..clueless.  I see a line with small(two finger width) hanging below the spark plug wires...the radiator fan was un plugged but some parts seem to missing below the fan ..on the bottom of the engine ..in front of the bottom of the  fan!

**I have the haynes manual..tore it up..I have found some vacuum lines photos..is there a better manual I could find on reference at a library..hard to find 93 chilton rep manual for the ford escort!

oh boy I have a 83 toy celica..should i follow the examples ..to clean the injectors..by the haynes manual?

I have a mech friend..he told not to pull the inj..he wants to test them(stethascope?)..the car stalls..but it runs!  I think it is ..clogged inj..

I will look for your email..I guess at juno website or here?

Answer
I'm sorry, I don't have a Service Manual or EVTM for this vehicle.  You can check with your local Ford Dealer, they may still have manuals that you could photocopy.  The Haynes manual should be okay.  In order to put things back together, someone would have to inspect this vehicle and compare it to the manuals to see where the vacuum lines go and if anything is missing.

I don't know how the Haynes Manual decribes cleaning the injectors, but I do not recommend removing the fuel injectors. The injectors can be cleaned while still in the engine.   You could listen to each injector with a stethascope, you may hear if it is opening and closing, it wont tell you if it is clogged.
