Ford Repair: fuelsystem, gabe gabe, back tank

I just bought a 1989 f250 4x4, my back tank works fine its my front tank that has the problem.It will run fine for 10 to 20 min. sometimes longer then it will sputter an want to stall if I switch to the back tank for a few seconds then switch back to the front it will be ok for awhile again ,oyeah I put some fuel injector cleaner in that tank I dont know if that has anything to do with it and I dont know how long it was sitting for I bought it of a car lot. other than that its a great truck.Thanks for your help, your response will be appreciated.Gabe.

It sounds like you have a bad fuel pump. The only other thing that it could be, which I doubt, is your fule filter needs to be replaced. If it was your fuel injectors, it would do it on either tank.
