Ford Repair: Horsepower, art carr, shift kits

Question
What rearend would you suggest?  It's still going to be a daily driver.  And also, do shift kits really improve the shift that much?  If so, which one would you prefer?  Thanks again.

For a truck I'd either go with a 3.73 rear end or a 4.10.  Either one will raise your cruising rpms a little, but the seat-of-the-pants feeling is worth it in my opinion.  And yes, shift kits can make a great improvement.  I'd recommend either Art Carr's stuff or Transgo.  Either one will give you very crisp and fast shifts.  Hope this helps.
