Ford Repair: Disc Brake Caliper, disc brake caliper, last ditch effort

Question
I had to replace my right front brake rotor and pads on my 92 F150. In doing so, it is impossible for me to depress the caliper piston even with the bleeder valve open. I have tried to depress it using a C-clamp but it won't budge. Any advise?

Thanks,

Wade

Answer
Wade-

As a last ditch effort you might try removing the caliper altogether and compressing it off the truck.  This can get messy since thebrake lines will inevitably leak, but if you keep the line pointing up (it helps to use something like a twist tie to keep it up and out of the way), you should minimize the leak.  If it the caliper still won't budge it may be frozen and in need of replacement...but it's certainly worth a try.  Hope this helps.
