Ford Repair: plug wires, spark plug wires, compression stroke

i have a 82 5.0 the plug wires were off the driver side and distibutor when i bought it and im having a hell of a time figureing out the proper place and order  to get em back on pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease help me

The firing order for a 1982-1993 Mustang 5.0L is 1,3,7,2,6,5,4,8.
Set the number 1 cylinder (passenger side front-to-back is 1,2,3,4 drivers side front-to-back 5,6,7,8) to Top Dead Center (TDC) on the COMPRESSION STROKE (not exhaust stroke)
Remove the Distributor Cap, the post the Rotor is pointing to is 1 (there may be a small mark molded into the cap).
While the Distributor Cap is off, turn the engine over clockwise, this will tell you the direction that the Rotor rotates.
Install the Spark Plug Wires in that rotation to the appropriate cylinders.
