Ford Repair: power windows ft pass side, window switch, ford explorer

Question
motor seems to be broken. is it any way to unlock motor to get window up. broke in down position.getting power, motor bad. 94 ford explorer 4dr. 4.0 auto

Answer
Sometimes you can bang on a flat part of the lower portion of the door while holding the window switch in the up position (with the ignition on) and this will persuade the window to go up.  Otherwise the door panel will have to be removed and window motor pulled from regulator, then manually move the window and replace the motor and trim panel.
