Ford Repair: Cooling fan, fan motor, temp sensor

Question
The two-speed cooling fan on my 95 Escort 1900LX  has just stopped working.  The wiring diagram shows two relays that control it but I can only find the one in the box under the hood and it's OK (so's everything else as far as I can tell, fan motor, temp sensor are OK) Where's the second one?  And, what is the possibility that the ECC is at fault? I get some interesting spurrious indications but I hate to give Ford $300 on a whim.

Answer
Mr. Lowell,

If there is another one it should be on the block on the driver's side underneath the throttle body. I doubt that your ECC is at fault. Take a meter and check the voltage at the fan. If there is voltage going to the fan, it is the fan. If there is no voltage going to the fan, then it is either your relay or a fuse. Hope that this helps and I apologize for the delay in answering y our question. Good luck.
