Ford Repair: Starting, ford contour, fuel injection system

Question
Hi.  My car was stalling when I went from a stop to go.  We took it to Auto Zone they ran a diagnostic and said it was the oxygen sensor.  The altenator went out.  We replaced that as well as the sensor.  We got it back together and now it doesn't get any spark or gas.  Any idea of what could have happened?

Answer
Ms. Shoemaker,

I find it strange that you changed your oxygen sensor and your altenator and you still get no spark. It sounds like possibly have broken, loose or disconnected wires at the coil.
Other possibilities could be: There may be a fault in your fuel injection system, make sure that your battery terminal connections are not loose or corroded and make sure that your battery has not discharged, there may be excessive moisture on or damage to your ignition components, when did you last change your spark plugs (if they are worn, faulty or incorrectly gapped plugs), your distributor could be loose causing the ignition timing to change
