Ford Repair: Cuts off at a stop (Low idle), vacuum leak, speed density

Question
My 1988 Mustang 5.0 (Speed Density/5 speed T-5) is giving me problems. Every time I am stoping at a light (or whatever the reason), it wants to die on me or it actually cuts off. What are some of the possible problems. And, how can I trouble-shoot these in order to find out what is actually worng with the car? I appreciate your feedback!

Answer
Alfred,

First thing I would do is check for a vacuum leak. Check at the intake manifold and at the throttle body. Also check your fuel filter. It is also possible that it is something in your emmisions, like your EGR. Hope that this helps and good luck.
