Ford Repair: engine conversion, ford conversion, chevy ford

i have a 3/4 ton 87 ford pickup...i would like to know if they make a conversion kit to adapt a chevy motor on a ford transmission...and in the truck...it's a 383 stroker that i have i hear there may be and adapter available...also for the motor mounts...thanks rick

Rick, it's not uncommon for the Chevy small-block to show up in anything... but that's not something I've ever seen or done.
The internet has lots of web-sites for hot rods and conversions... whenever I was putting a 302 into my son't Ranger, I found pictures and parts suppliers for everything (although I fabricated my own mounts and exhaust).  I'm sure if you go to a search engine (such as Yahoo.com) and put in 'chevy ford conversion' you'll find some useful articles and maybe even pictures!
Good luck!  It will be a lot of work, but something to show off when you're done.
