Ford Repair: Ford 9 Rear End Gasket Replacement, mach 1 mustang, 1969 mach 1

Hi,
I have a 1969 Mach 1 Mustang with a 9" rear end.  The gasket around the pig is leaking and needs to be replaced.  Could you please tell me the proper replacement procedure.  Do I need to use rtv sealant or is just a replacement gasket with adhesive sufficient?  Do I need to remove the brakes inside the drums?  And is there anything special I need to know when taking out the axle shafts?  Your help is appreciated!

sorry i did not respond sooner.if you can right back ill try to help you,most of your question is missing.(server messed up) the only part i have is the gasket around the pig is leaking,and what do you mean by pig.hope tp hear from you.
