Ford Repair: 67 ford galaxy 500 (390) 4door, ford galaxy 500, hub assembly

i need to change the suspention coil springs on a 67 ford galaxy in my drive-way.  what special tools will i need and what do i do?

to start you need a spring compressor.you need to remove the shocks,hub assembly,and suspension parts.raise the front of the car.remove the hub assembly.install a spring compressor and compress the spring to remove all tension from the control arms.remove the cotrol arms attaching nuts and swing the arms out of the way.realease the spring compreeor and remove it.then lift out spring.this job is very dangerous as a spring can fly out and hit you.i do not advise you to do this without the right tools and knowledge.hope this helps.
