Ford Repair: Headlight problems, weef, loose connection

Question
Hi,
I have a 1994 ford explorer.
& I began having problems with my headlights about a weef or 2 ago.
While leaving work one night, I turned on my vehicle & my lights. I noticed that my Highbeams indicator was on but my lights were not!
so I got out, raised the hood & checked a few things, & closed the hood. But as a slammmed the hood closed tha lights came on, & the highbeams indicator went off.
So this went on for about a week 1/2. But now My lights will not come on at all. I checked the fuses also, & they were fine.
What else could the problem be?

Answer
Mr. Addison,

Did you check all the connections under neath the hood? When you slammed your hood down and your lights came on, that indicates to me that you have a loose connection somewhere. Check all the wires and the plugs going into the head lights to ensure that you do not have a loose connection or a bad ground.

Good luck.
