I HAVE A 1981 FORD MUSTANG WITH A 6 CYL.
THE TORQUE CONVERTER WAS CHANGED BUT I THINK IT'S
IS THE WRONG ONE.
IT'S LEAKS. NO IT'S DUMPS FLUID
Answer -
wow, thats great.  could be a seal.
I CHANGED IT TWICE. CHECKED THE TORQUE CONVERTER WITH 20 PSI AIR.
DO YOU KNOW THE O.D.OF THE TORQUE CONVERTER INPUT SHAFT COULD IT BE WORN
OR THE WORNG CONVERTER?

Answer
if you think its the wrong converter take the thing off and check the numbers on it and see what application its for.  There could be a million things wrong with your trans, just because it leaks from the bellhousing doesnt mean its from the torque converter.  If the converter was too small as you say, the thing would have never run right from the start and whoever changed it would be a fool to leave it in.  Could be a servo, could be a blown valve body, could be a selnoid stuck in the wrong position.  Could be anything.
