Ford Repair: Mustang Alignment, alignment shop, steering wheel

Question
My 1999 Mustang was in an accident recently. The front end took a hit and the lower control arm and strut needed replacing. I just got it back from the body shop and noticed that when I am pulling in staight to a parking spot and get out to look at the tires, one tire is straight and the other is slightly turned. However, the car tracks fine when I am on the highway. Won't this cause the tire that is crooked to wear unevenly? I also feel there is too much free play in the steering wheel when going straight.

Answer
your tires will wear out quickly. Take it to a good alignment shop, proabably shop that sells tires.  It will cost some money but must be done especialy on a daily driver.  Your loose steering wheel may be caused by a broken steering shaft or worn out brushings, you should fix that if too if somethings wrong.  You cannot do an alignment yourself.
