i have a 93 f-150 lightning, k&n cone filter,jet chip,motercraft headers,hi flow cats 2 /turbo muflers, how do i get rid of the top speed limiter? thanks, joey

  Technically eliminating or modifying your speed governor is illegal in some states and/or counties, so the following is merely for informational purposes (sorry...had to get that out of the way to cover my own butt).  The most common way of eliminating the limiter is to have a chip burned that either changes it to a higher number or ditches it altogether.  You can also have the computer's EPROM memory flashed to get rid of it...this is basically like using a chip but it doesn't stay with the computer.  Either way it will identify the speed limiter settings and change them inside the computer.  Hope this helps.
