Ford Repair: Ford Motor Swap, brocno, swap kits

Hi -

I have a 69 brocno with a factory 302 in need of repair/replacement.  A friend of mine has a 390 that purrs and would be a great replacement.  

Can this work?  Would you advise?

  Sure, it could fit.  The biggest hurdle will be getting the swap parts to put it in and then making a few wiring modifications.  If they're still in business, Kaufmann Products (www.kaufmannproducts.com) used to sell some great complete swap kits for all types of Ford cars and trucks.  Hope this helps.
