Ford Repair: steering problem, ball joints, james england

i am from the u.k. my problem is. i have a ford escort minstrel 1995. 16v 1600cc the steering seems to be moving sharply to the right! i have changed the ball joints & had the tracking adjusted. why is it doing this ? thanks USA

Hi James,
It sounds like you have a bad tire. Switch the 2 front tires from side to side. If it pulls sharply to the left now, replace the tires. Also while the front end is in the air make sure the tires turn freely and the brakes are not binding.
