Ford Repair: 2001 Mercury Sable-heater/blower, 2001 mercury sable, mercury sable

Question
IWhen I choose the selector switch for heat/ac settings,I hear the blower directional doors open,
but the blower does not come on.

Any suggestions, before I drag it to the dealer?

Check the fuse for the blower motor. If it's not the fuse, you either have a bad blower motor or a bad directional cable. Hope that this helps and I apologize for the lengthy response time but I was experiencing technical difficulties with my ISP. Good luck.
