 So far as I can tell there's quite a few different engines that were available in the '62 Galaxy.  Again, from what I can tell, the available engine sizes were a 223 inline 6, 292 V8, 352 V8, 390 V8, a hi-po 390 V8, and a 406 V8.  The standard engine was the 223 I6, but any of the others could be optioned.  Hope this helps.
