Ford Repair: Leak from brakes?, power steering fluid, ford exp

Question
Hi!  I have a 97'Ford Exp. Sport.  Last Friday I had my car broken into, they left the doors wide open.  My battery was low from that.  I tried to move my car from one parking space to another and it died.  So I tried to have someone push me into the other spot while I was in the drivers seat pulling the wheel from right to left to get the car into the spot.  To make a long story short(sorry! :)  I noticed a leak from under the left wheel joint.  When I drove it to the shop to have the car repaired (from the break-in) I noticed slipping on the left side.  Do you think I broke something?  When it rains, it POURS!  Any info would be helpful.  Prior to this event, I have had no problems and the brakes have been replaced less then 2 yrs ago.

Thank you!
Monica

Answer
Hi Monica,
It's just POWER STEERING FLUID. Any time you turn the steering wheel without the engine running, power steering fluid is forced out the top of the cap. Add some power steering fluid, go to car wash and clean the fluid that was spilled.
