Ford Repair: Windshield washer reservoirs, valerie valerie, windshield washer

Question
I have a 2003 Ford Taurus Station wagon that had summer windshield washer inadvertently put in both the front and tailgate reservoirs.
Is there a simple way to remove this so it can be replaced with the proper -45C stuff. The temperature here is -20C and the liquid has completely slushed up -- although we do have a heated garage -- so it does run free when the vehicle is parked in there.
Thanks
Valerie

Answer
Valerie-

Well...if you happen to have a syphon tube laying around, that would do the job with ease.  If not, you could always just hold the switch down for squirters (for maybe 5-10 seconds at a time) until the reservoirs are about 1/2 empty and then refill the rest of the way with winter washer fluid.  That should be enough to keep it from slushing up.  Hope this helps.
