Honda Repair: Brakes lock up, tire locks, wheel bearing

Hi I have a 86 Honda civic and when I try to go in reverse the rear driver side tire locks up. It only happens in reverse and it is only the one rear side. Also sometimes when it locks up the wheel grinds a little bit and then pops and starts rolling again. If you have any ideas on what could be causing this please email me soon thank you

It's hard to say for sure without being able to look at it, but one of the first things I would check is the brakes. Just jack up the car and try to turn it by hand.

it might be a wheel bearing issue, but that is a lot less likely. You probably have a brake problem.
