Honda Repair: To Buy or Not to Buy, honda accord, fuel pump

Question
Is it wise to buy a 1990 Honda Accord that has a burnt valve and needs a fuel pump?

I need a reliable car and am considering purchasing this one depending on your opinion.

Thank You.

Answer
If you are looking for a good reliable car, this is not it. If the valve is burned that means that all of the valves need to be replaced. Who knows what else is wearing out on this engine. Replacing valves is a major job.
The fuel pump isn't as big of a deal, but will cost some money. You will have more money into this car than it is worth. I'd find a different car.
