Honda Repair: 1999 honda prelude, fuel pressure regulator, honda prelude

Question
alright i have a 1999 honda prelude. when i start the car it smokes black out the tail pipe. i change the oil regularly but i just cant figure out what is wrong with it. the car has no problems except the smoking. Please help thanks

Answer
Usually black smoke indicates a rich (too much fuel in the cylinders) condition. This would normally cause the check engine light to come on. You might want to have the codes read. Sometimes there is a code even though the check engine light is not on.
Some things that might be causing this are the o2 sensors, injectors, fuel pressure regulator, computer, etc.
