Honda Repair: main relay assy, honda 1, electrical problem

i replaced the motor on my 98 honda 1.6 base, and it started fine and ran for 5min and shut down. iran out of gas,so i put gas in and now i have no gas pumping in line. The relay clicks off and on,sometimes fast and other times pulse. What could it be

Sounds like an electrical problem. the relay turning on and off tells me that it is not getting constant battery voltage. It is losing it in a connection somewhere. It is most likely in the battery cable or terminal. Make sure they are clean and tight. This is the first thing I would check.
