Honda Repair: Distributor Replacement, o ring, oil change

Question
My car is leaking oil, and a mechanic told me that since replacing the O-ring in the distributor didn't work (he tried this method a couple months ago at last oil change), I would need a new distributor.  He said this costs around $300 or $350, plus $60 for labor. Does this sound about right? Is there a way that I could get the part cheaper (recommendations)? I may ask my brother if he can switch it out.  Thank you!!!

Answer
You could try a used distributor. You can get them pretty cheap sometimes. I would try ebay, craigslist, etc.
Just be sure your brother knows what he is doing. It is actually pretty tricky to get the new distributor in correctly as the gears need to line up correctly.
