Honda Repair: 1990 Honda Accord Speed Sensor, automatic transmissions, intake tube

Hello Travis,
I know you've answer the question about finding the speed sensor before, but I've seen you answer it for people with automatic transmission. I drive a standard shift Accord DX and I was wondering if it was located someplace different on the standard shifts? We can't seem to find it. Thanks for the help!

Becky, it's in the same location as on the Automatic Transmissions. It is tough to locate because it is usually covered in grime or dirt. I mean sometimes heavily caked over the entire sensor. I remove the intake tube first, then spray some degreaser down on top of the transmission nearest the firewall. 1 10mm should be present holding the sensor in place.
