Honda Repair: 94 accord, worst case scenario, cv axle

Question
Sorry. The details must have slipped my mind. Every time I accelerate the front end of my car rocks from side to side and its coming from my front passenger side. Or at least it feels like something is pushing the rest of the car from that side. It only happens when the gas peddle is used or acceleration. Even just maintaining a speed.

Answer
Ben, your alignment (if severely damaged) can cause this issue. More than likely this is a suspension component. Basically you need to look in that area(s) and inspect for damage, etc. This could also be a CV-axle, wheel, tire, strut, sway bar, steering arm, etc. When you have it inspected or inspect it yourself please take time and look at all of these areas. They might look fine but, there is ways to test certain areas for defects.

Worst case scenario - your Transmission could cause this but, unlikely the source for the rocking. When was the last time you had the front-end aligned? Transmission fluid flushed? These are basic maintenance requirements and should be performed every 30K-50K depending on driver habits or conditions.
