Honda Repair: 1992 honda accord, fuse blocks, blower fan

Question
what could cause the radio and blower motor to stop working after changing the ignition switch?

Answer
Stephen, if you did not disconnect the (-) battery cable before replacing this electrical component then you could have possibly touched a ground source in the area of repair. Therefore shorting a hot lead. Who knows what you might have touched or arced. If i had to guess you arced the ACC hot wire to the constant (+) 12V supplied in the ignition switch. The ACC would control the radio and the blower fan runs on nearby (+) 12V sources when keyed on.

Check the fuses. Under the hood and in cabin fuse blocks. Look very closely and double check your work.
