Honda Repair: 1987 Honda Accord DX-Stalls out, honda accord hatchback, battery cables

Question
I went the other morning to my job and turned on the heat when I was sure the engine was warmed up (half hot, half cool) about 5 minutes down the road my dash lights dimmed and my car slowed lost power until it stalled out. It happened once on the way home without the heat on, and on my road I turned the heat on full blast (just to see if it would do it again) and it died out instantly and wouldn't start again. I had the radiator relaced about 2 months ago as well.

1987 Honda Accord Hatchback DX

Can you help me please?
Thank you. =)

Answer
Bobbie, start by evaluating and checking the battery, alternator and starter. Either take it too a mechanic or remove these components yourself and have them tested. Battery first. Then alternator. Starter last. AutoZone's or other local auto parts store will check these for you for free. Quit using the heater fan switch and turn off all electronics in order to conserve battery power. Inspect your (-) and (+) battery cables for damage or corrosion. This could cause the problem too. Also a ground wire can come loose or becoming loose. There are like 5 on this car so reference the internet for information.
